Cobalt blue ground version.

Colouration: cobalt blue, ochre, pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.

Bears a pattern number, '766'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1872.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Shallow chip to underside.

Two shallow chips to the ribbon.

KILN EFFECTS: a few glaze misses to the ribbon;

shrinkage lines to the interior, where the foot joins the bottom.
