Minton Majolica holly & misletoe Christmas pitcher

Victorian, circa 1900. 6.9ins high, 6.1ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features holly and mistletoe with a branch handle.

Colouration: cobalt blue, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '16 580'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Slight wear to exterior.

KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to cobalt ground;

glaze run to the ochre and cobalt glazes.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to foot rim.

Two retouched flakes to rim.
