
Victorian, circa 1876. 8.7ins high, 5.5ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Brown Westhead Moore & Co Majolica jug/pitcher which features a fox on either side at the bottom, with a grapevine border to the top.
Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, turquoise, ochre, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '341'.
English diamond registration mark for the date 14/03/1876.
CONDITION: Good.
Slight wear to the high points of the molding.
Light scratches from use.
KILN EFFECT: glaze miss to the cobalt glaze.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.
