Victorian, circa 1875. 5.7ins high, 5.1ins wide, 3.7ins depth.

Wedgwood Majolica jug/pitcher which features fruiting hops and a branch handle.

Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. English diamond registration mark for the date 15/06/1875. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1875.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

Some wear to exterior.

KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray cobalt glaze to the ochre rim.
