Alcock Majolica grape & strawberry plate

Victorian, circa 1860. 9ins high, 9ins wide, 1.1ins depth.

Alcock Majolica plate which features strawberries, leaves, grapes and blossoms.

Brown ground version. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Alcock pottery.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

Bruise to rim and one to foot rim.

A few tiny chips to glaze accumulation to foot rim.

Some small flakes to the rim.

Wear to the high points of the molding.
