
Victorian, circa 1900. 11.4ins high, 11.8ins wide, 7.1ins depth. Gustafsberg Majolica centrepiece bowl which features a fish supporting a shell.
Turquoise ground version. Colouration: brown, blue, dark pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Gustafsberg pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1899.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Very slight wear to interior.
KILN EFFECTS: one tight craze line to the inner rim;
two specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the top of the base.
