Gustafsberg Majolica jug/pitcher which features open mouthed fish on a shell and seaweed base.
Turquoise ground version. Colouration: grey, ochre, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Gustafsberg pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1893.
Good. No restoration. A couple of abrasions to the seaweed molding.
Very slight wear to rim.
KILN EFFECTS: craze lines to the interior,
two deep craze lines to the rim.
