Large Longchamp Majolica Iris vase

Victorian, circa 1900. 23.6ins high, 11ins wide, 11ins depth.

Longchamp Majolica vase which features irises (in the Manner of Delphin Massier).

Colouration: cream, puce, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Longchamp pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1331'.

Condition

Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: small firing hole to rim;

kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the bottom of the vase;

notable crazing to the rim;

uneven glaze application to the ground.
