Minton Majolica nut dish which features a squirrel with short, light brown ears (unusual ear colour and size).
Colouration: green, brown, white, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1522'. English diamond registration mark for the date 23/7/1869. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.
Good. No restoration. Tiny chip and a bruise to the under rim.
Flaking to ears.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze accumulation to dish interior.
