
Victorian, circa 1880. 15ins high, 7.1ins wide, 5.9ins depth. Lonitz Majolica cache pot and stand which features a partridge and two chicks in front of an oak tree. Colouration: brown, green, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Lonitz pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1203'.
CONDITION: Stand: Good. No restoration. Small, shallow chip to base edge on the reverse.
Some tiny flakes to spikey leaves and beaks.
Some usage wear to interior.
Pot: Good. No restoration. Short, tight hairline to rim.
Staining from use.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the green glaze.
