Minton Majolica rabbit dish

Victorian, circa 1869. 3ins high, 9.1ins wide, 5.9ins depth.

Minton Majolica dish which features a rabbit eating a cabbage leaf.

Colouration: green, white, black, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1531'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1869.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Small flakes to rim.

Slight wear around the rim.

KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to the rabbit.
