Majolica coloured leaves plate

Victorian, circa 1880. 8.6ins high, 8.9ins wide, 1.2ins depth. Majolica plate which features 5 overlapping leaves. Colouration: green, yellow, brown, are predominant.

Condition

Good. Some flakes to the rim.





Slight wear to the high points of the molding.





KILN EFFECT: glaze misses to the reverse.





RESTORATION. Filled shallow-chip to the rim.
