Victorian, circa 1880. 6.5ins high, 12.8ins wide, 7.5ins depth. Victorian Pottery Co. (VPC) Majolica game pie dish which features a wild boar head finial and blackberry bush relief decoration to the lid and sides.
Colouration: brown, ochre, turquoise, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Victorian Pottery Co. (VPC) pottery.

A few flakes to the high points of the moldings.
Some wear to the handles
and rim.
KILN EFFECT: shallow firing cracks to the exterior.
