Gustafsberg Majolica grape & strawberry plate

Victorian, circa 1870. 7.1ins high, 7.1ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Gustafsberg Majolica plate which features strawberries, leaves, grapes and blossoms.



Colouration: blue, green, lilac, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Gustafsberg pottery.

Bears a pattern number, '1W'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.

Condition

Good. No restoration.

Some small flakes to under rim.



Slight wear to interior.



KILN EFFECTS: stilt marks to the reverse; glaze run to the green and brown glazes.
