Dallwitz Majolica Cockerel Figure

Victorian, circa 1890. 15.6ins high, 13.8ins wide, 6.7ins depth. Dallwitz Majolica figural which features a cockerel.

Colouration: brown, green, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Dallwitz pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the glazes;

a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze.

RESTORATION. Tail feather reglued and join retouched.

Remodelled end of same tail feather.

Filled chip to comb.

Retouched flake to one other feather

and one to foot.
