Majolica fish cheese dome & stand

Victorian, circa 1870. 10.2ins high, 11.4ins wide, 11.4ins depth.

Majolica cheese keep which features a fish handle with fish and foliage decoration to the sides.

Colouration: cobalt blue, green, grey, are predominant.

Condition

Cover: Generally good. Light scratches to exterior.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the interior;

glaze miss to exterior.

RESTORATION. Handle reglued and joins retouched.

Stabilised and retouched hairline to rim.
