Minton Majolica vase which features 3 mermen supporting a shell vase.
Turquoise ground version. Colouration: turquoise, green, cream, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '526'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1879.

patchy colouration to two mermen.
RESTORATION. Section to rim reglued and join retouched.
Two stabilised and retouched cracks to rim.
