Victorian, circa 1876. 3.3ins high, 11ins wide, 10.6ins depth. George Jones Majolica strawberry server which features flowers forming the sugar and cream bowls, branch handle and lily and strawberry ground. Colouration: green, white, turquoise, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3501 30'. English diamond registration mark for the date 19/02/1876.
Condition
Good. Small flake to rim of one bowl
and a few flakes to interior.
Wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECT: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the interior.
RESTORATION: Retouched two flakes to rim of one bowl.
