
Victorian, circa 1882. 9.8ins high, 9.3ins wide, 9.3ins depth. Wedgwood Argenta Majolica cheese keep which features birds perched on blossoming branches, with fans in the background. White ground version. Colouration: cream, brown, pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2924'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1882.
Dome: Generally good. Some small flakes around the top edge.
Slight wear to interior.
RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to side.
Stand: Generally good. Flake to interior (not visible when dome is in place).
Some wear.
Staining from use.
RESTORATION: filled chips to one foot.
