Mintons Majolica cockatoo figural

Edwardian, circa 1910. 5.3ins high, 4.7ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Mintons Majolica figural which features a cockatoo perched on a tree stump.

White ground version. Colouration: white, green, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Mintons pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Fair. KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the beak;

flecks of stray coloured glaze to the feathers.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks through base and stump.

Filled chip to crest.
