Mounted to conservator standards on acid free card with chipboard backing.
The sampler is worked in silk on linen ground, in a variety of stitches including Algerian eye.
No border. Colours red, cream, green and blues. Alphabets A-Z in upper case and family initials.

CONDITION: Good. A few small holes.
A few pale patchy stains. Some stitch losses to the divider lines, letters of the alphabet and verse.
Pale colours are slightly faded, but still well defined. No colour run. Neatly and evenly stretched. Frame in good condition, ready to hang.
