WMF fairy with dove, lily visiting card tray

Circa 1910. 8.5ins high. WMF Art Nouveau visiting card tray decorated with a fairy standing before two large lily leaves, holding a dove in her hands.











Impressed maker's marks including WMF ostrich logo, 'B', 'I/O', 'OX' and '246' to the underside.









Illustrated on page 167, catalogue number 246, 'Art Nouveau Domestic Design from Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik' published by the 'Antique Collectors Club'

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration. Some tarnishing in places.









Small dent to rim of tray and upper base.





Some scratches to top of tray and fairy's right shoulder.
