Victorian, circa 1850. 4.3ins high, 5.1ins wide, 3.1ins depth.
Staffordshire porcellaneous figure which features a poodle, seated on a rococo base.
White and gilt version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Maker's marks to the underside.
Condition
Good. No restoration. Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: two craze lines to the front of the base;
two small areas of staining to the dog's back and top of base;
a few specks of kiln soot;
over glazed chip to dog's hind right paw.
