Satffordshire Pearlware sash window stop
Pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 3.7ins high, 2.4ins wide, 3.5ins depth.
Staffordshire pearlware sash window stop which features a gentleman's head, resting directly on the ground, no base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
Condition
Good. No restoration. Two tight hairlines to the reverse base rim.
A few paint losses to the base rim and collar.
KILN EFFECTS: tiny glaze pops to the front base rim;
kiln soot caught in the glaze to the interior and exterior;
a fleck of stray green glaze to the reverse.
