Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 12.6ins high, 10.8ins wide, 6.3ins depth.
Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Copper lustre version.
Copper lustre embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.
Condition
Right facing: Good. KILN EFFECTS: a few flecks of stray glaze to the front and reverse;
copper lustre has oxidized and turned green, probably in manufacturing process.
RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses to the nose.
Left facing: Good. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to chest;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front;
copper lustre has oxidized and turned green, probably in manufacturing process.
