Staffordshire recumbent sheep figure

Victorian, circa 1860. 2.6ins high, 3.7ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire porcellaneous figure which features a sheep, recumbent on a shaped base. Dull gilt base line.







Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Abrasions to nose and ears.







Some rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the underside of the base;



firing hole to front of the base.
