Staffordshire seated cat
Victorian, circa 1860. 8.3ins high, 3.9ins wide, 2.6ins depth.
Staffordshire figure which features a cat, seated on an oval base.
Dull gilt base line. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
Good. KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the reverse;
shrinkage line along the mold joins on both sides;
touch marks to right side and reverse;
a piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to base front.
RESTORATION. Retouched flake to right ear.
Retouched paint losses to face and markings.
