Mini Pair Staffordshire hen & cockerel figures

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 4.2ins high, 2.8ins wide, 1.4ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a hen and a cockerel/rooster, stood on an oval base.







Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.



Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

Hen: Generally good. No restoration. Small chip to lower base edge.



Some paint losses to markings.





KILN EFFECTS: touch mark and a shrinkage crack to chest.



Cockerel: Generally good. No restoration. Small abrasion to side of base.



Some paint losses to markings.





KILN EFFECT: shrinkage crack to lower base edge.
