pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 9.8ins high, 6.5ins wide, 3.7ins depth. Staffordshire bust with a theatrical and literary theme
which features Shakespeare, resting on a plinth base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.

Condition
CONDITION: Good.
Tight hairline to the right side of his neck.
A few paint losses to brown borders on plinth.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to his forehead.
RESTORATION. Reglued chip to his left eyebrow.
