Pair Staffordshire spaniels front leg free

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 8.5ins high, 6.3ins wide, 3.7ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, with front leg free, seated directly on the ground, no base.



Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.









Vent hole to the reverse.

CONDITION: Right facing: Very good. No restoration.

Minor paint losses to eyes and lip.



Slight rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks between the front legs.



Left facing: Good. No restoration.

Shallow chip under right paw.



Minor paint losses to eyes and lip.



Slight rubbing to gilt.
