Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 4.1ins high, 3.7ins wide, 2.8ins depth.
Pair of Staffordshire porcellaneous figures which feature a spaniel, front legs free, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Black and white version.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
Condition
Right facing: Good. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack above dog's front right leg;
a few small areas of staining to front and reverse.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to top of right front paw.
Left facing: Good. No restoration. Tiny chip to base of dog's tail.
Some small flakes to two paws.
A few minor paint losses to markings and face.
KILN EFFECTS: small areas of staining to the reverse.
