Small Staffordshire poodle with basket
Victorian, circa 1860. 3.1ins high, 3.9ins wide, 2ins depth.
Staffordshire porcellaneous figure which features a poodle standing over a shell with a basket in it's mouth, stood on an oval base.
Dull gilt base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Condition
Good. No restoration.
Small chip to shell.
Rubbing to gilt.
Very slight wear to poodle.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base side.
