Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 7.7ins high, 8.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a whippet with a hare in it's mouth, stood on a shaped base.
Black and white version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.

Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: a few flecks of stray coloured glaze to the front
and reverse.
RESTORATION. Remodelled right ear.
Retouched paint losses to markings
and face.
Left facing: Good.
Tight hairline to left hind ankle.
Tiny chip to lower base edge.
