Staffordshire poodle with pups on cushion

Victorian, circa 1860. 3.1ins high, 3.5ins wide, 2.2ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a poodle and her two pups, recumbent on a tasselled cushion base. Dull gilt embellishment.









Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Some small flakes to lower base edge,



one to base,



and to the shredded clay.





Some rubbing to gilt.



KILN EFFECTS: craze lines to front and reverse.
