Pair of Staffordshire sash window stops which feature a spaniel's head, resting directly on the ground, no base.
Jackfield black version.
Vent holes are present.

Condition
Figure 1: Good. KILN EFFECTS: glaze misses to one ear and base edge.
RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to one ear and rest plate.
Figure 2: Good. KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the reverse.
RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to face, reverse of head,
rest plate and lower base edge.
