Staffordshire fox & corn spill vase
Victorian, circa 1860. 5.5ins high, 4.7ins wide, 2.6ins depth.
Staffordshire spill vase which features a fox crouching in front of sheaves of corn, stood on an oval base.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Condition
Generally good. Small flakes to rim of spill.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to left ear and lower jaw.
Retouched paint losses to fox's right ear and markings,
spill vase and ground.
