Kent Staffordshire parrot figure

Victorian, circa 1900. 9.1ins high, 4.7ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Kent Staffordshire figure which features a parrot, perched on a circular base.

Bright gilt base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent hole to the underside. Maker's marks to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

Some paint losses to parrot's feathers.

Rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: some shrinkage cracks to the grassy mound

and rear of parrot's head.
