Victorian, circa 1860. 11.2ins high, 8.3ins wide, 4.1ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a Little Lion Dog holding a fruit basket in its mouth, seated directly on the ground, no base. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition
Good. No restoration. A few paint losses to muzzle and paws.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the flower basket;
over glazed shrinkage lines to both ears and 'mane'.
