Pair Staffordshire black and white flower basket spaniels
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 7.2ins high, 5.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel holding a basket of flowers in it's mouth,
seated directly on the ground, no base.
Black and white version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.

Condition
CONDITION: Right facing: Generally good.
A few paint losses to flowers and muzzle.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the spaniel's face and to the reverse;
a few areas of stained crazing.
RESTORATION. Head reglued and join retouched.
Filled chip to right hind paw.
Left facing: Good.
