In the foreground, a shell and two sheep, recumbent on a shaped hollow base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Paint losses to lady's left elbow,
her instrument
and spill rim.
KILN EFFECTS: finger prints to the spill;
touch mark to his knee;
glaze pops to the yellow,
cream and brown enamel;
firing crack to the right hand sheep where it meets the ground.
