Small Pair Staffordshire standing collies
Victorian, circa 1890. Tallest is 5.7ins high, 6.1ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a collie, stood directly on the ground, no base.
Bright gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.

CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration.
Small paint losses to eyes and muzzle.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to front.
Left facing: Good.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to dog's mouth.
RESTORATION: hind left reglued and join retouched.
Retouched paint loss to nose.
