Staffordshire poodle & kennel spill vase
Victorian, circa 1860. 8.1ins high, 6.7ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase which features a poodle chained to its kennel, stood on a shaped base.
Black painted base line. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

Condition
CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration.
Small flake to kennel roof.
A few paint losses to spill rim.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to the ground;
over glazed shrinkage lines to the spaniel's back and top of left leg;
bird to tree half missing during manufacture, with original over painting.
