Large Staffordshire recumbent ram figure

Victorian, circa 1880. 4.5ins high, 6.7ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a ram, recumbent on a shaped base.

Bright gilt base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the ram;

over glazed shrinkage lines to the right ear.
