Large Pair Staffordshire russet and white spaniels
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 15ins high, 9.8ins wide, 4.9ins depth.
Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Russet and white version.
Decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.
Condition
Right facing: Good. No restoration. Slight wear to muzzle, tail and ears.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the reverse.
Left facing: Good. No restoration. Flake to left hind leg.
Wear to muzzle, ears and tail.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the reverse and between front legs.
