Pair Kent Staffordshire child on spaniel figures
Victorian, circa 1890. Tallest is 5.9ins high, 4.4ins wide, 2ins depth. Pair of Kent Staffordshire figures which feature a child seated upon a black and white spaniel,
stood on a shaped base.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent holes to reverse and underside.
Book reference not found.
Condition
CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration.
Abrasion to child's bag.
A few paint losses to the black enamel.
KILN EFFECT: staining to the spaniel's tail,
right hind leg and eyes.
Left facing: Good.
A few paint losses to the ground.
RESTORATION: Tail reglued and join retouched.
