Victorian, circa 1860. 4.7ins high, 6.1ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Staffordshire pastille burner which features a two storey house embellished with flowers with an arbour at the entrance, stood on a separate base. Lilac version.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent holes are present.
Condition
CONDITION: Cottage: Good. Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage lines to the eves.
RESTORATION. Retouched chips and flakes to flowers.
Base: Good. Small chips to petals.
KILN EFFECTS: shallow firing crack to inside pastille holder.
