Victorian, circa 1860. 9.4ins high, 6.5ins wide, 3.1ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase with a religious theme which features
Joseph leading a donkey carrying Mary and the baby Jesus,
stood on an oblong base.
Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
This piece represents This figure represents the flight to Egypt, and is based on a similar pre-Victorian figure.

Condition
CONDITION: Good.
Some paint losses to the ground,
the donkey and Mary's clothing.
Some wear and abrasions to Mary's left hand
and the reverse.
RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to hair.
