Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 11.2ins high, 4.7ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures with a maritime theme which feature a sailor holding a mug of ale, stood on a circular base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the reverse.

Flake to base edge, not visible when standing upright.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing;
staining to the base.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to his nose.
Retouched flakes to left sleeve and both hands.
Retouched paint losses.
Left facing: Generally good.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to his right arm at the reverse.
