Staffordshire Castle spill vase with drummer boy

Victorian, circa 1860. 7.1ins high, 6.3ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire castle which features a drummer boy, stood on a shaped base.



Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.





Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.



Maker's marks painted to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

A few small paint losses to the ground.





Some rubbing to gilt.





KILN EFFECTS: a few tiny glaze pops to the reverse.



RESTORATION. Filled chip and stabilized hairlines to rim of spill vase.





Retouched paint losses to black enamel.
