Staffordshire Pearlware 'Peter Restoring the Lame Man' figure group
pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 6.6ins high, 4.7ins wide, 2.7ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware group with a religious theme which features Peter and a lame man, stood on a shaped hollow base.
The piece is titled, 'PETER RESTORING THE LAME MAN' .
Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

CONDITION: Fair. Tight hairline to lower base edge at front.
Missing upright section to one walking stick.
Small chip to lame man's right hand.
Some paint losses to the ground and clothing to both.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to tops of the Peter's arms;
